Planning Matters

Part of the Council's work is to consider and comment
on local planning applications.

The issue Outwoods residents are most concerned about
is the unprecedented volume of development which is
likely  to be taking place over the coming months and
years.

Major developments currently in the pipeline are listed on
the Planning Applications page along with their current status.

The Parish Council has opposed these developments because of the negative impact they will have on the local community, services and infrastructure including highways.

There are other large scale developments planned for the parishes of Stretton, Rolleston and Tutbury which will affect not only Outwoods but the wider locality and the town itself
.
Plans
